    Ah the joy of the aromas of newly baked bread. Astonishingly simple once you know the basics of yeast types, bread flour  and other flours . These recipes will win over your most hardened relatives into sweet doughboys, seduce your partner and turn your children into instantly compliant teenagers. Well miracles do happen! But once you know how little it costs to make these delicious and healthy breads you will spit in the direction of Bakers Delight and other arty bread shops. You can and will make your own successful products. The course will cover Spelt corn, sourdough, artisan and gluten free to sweet doughs and yeast free and unleavened breads

  • Making Your Own Preserves

    Ever wanted to make your own preserves but not sure how? Do you have a glut of zucchinis or beetroot in the garden and would like to make something with them? This hands on workshop will show you the basics of preserving, including preparation, jar sterilisation, setting points and bottling of chutneys and jams. You'll be involved in making preserves using seasonal fruit and vegetables, and all participants will receive a jar of preserves to take home.
