Keen to develop new skills, improve on the skills you have or just get together with like minded people?
A diverse range of courses are held each year here at YCC, led by our team of knowledgeable and friendly teachers. From migrant English and computer courses through to guitar, conversational Spanish and meditation, you can gain skills and knowledge across a whole range of topics.
Classes are held in relaxed settings at either the Francis Street or Blackwood Street sites in school terms – during the day, in the evening or at weekends. And some computer courses can also be taken online, so that you can study at a time and place to suit you.

How to book – short courses
There are several ways to enrol in a short course at YCC.
1. Online
Follow the prompts to choose a course, enter your details, complete payment and finalise your enrolment.
2. By phone
Phone 9687 1560 during office hours (Mon–Thurs 9am–5pm, Fri 9am–4pm) and have your credit card details ready. We accept bookings by MasterCard or Visa.
3. In person
Download a Short courses enrolment form, type in your details to complete the form and bring it (with payment) to YCC at 59 Francis Street, Yarraville during office hours (Mon-Thurs 9am–5pm, Fri 9am–4pm)
4. By post
Download a Short courses enrolment form, type in your details to complete the form and post it (with payment) to YCC at PO Box 215 Yarraville 3013.
How to book – government funded courses
There are several ways to register your interest in enrolling in a government funded course at YCC. When we have your details, we will contact you and let you know about formal enrolment procedures.
1. Online
Follow the prompts to choose a course, and register your interest.
2. By phone
Phone 9687 1560 during office hours (Mon–Thurs 9am–5pm, Fri 9am–4pm) and register your interest.
3. In person
Drop in to YCC at 59 Francis Street, Yarraville during office hours (Mon–Thurs 9am–5pm, Fri 9am–4pm) and register your interest.
Terms and conditions
1. Bookings are only confirmed after your payment is received.
2. Refunds and transfers are only considered when a written request is received 10 days before your course begins. An administration fee of $20 applies. No refunds are given once a course has commenced.
3. Classes may be cancelled due to insufficient enrolments. If your class is cancelled by YCC, you will receive a full refund.
4. YCC reserves the right to alter or postpone courses, or to change fees, teachers or locations if unforeseen circumstances occur.
5. If you pay by mail, your receipt will be available at your first class. Please send a stamped, self-addressed envelope if you would like us to post a receipt.
6. YCC respects your rights to information privacy. Information that we collect and hold is kept in accordance with information privacy laws. A copy of our privacy policy is available on request by telephoning 9687 1560.
7. If you enrol in a government-funded course, we may require additional information. You may need to fill in an additional enrolment form and you may be contacted by funding bodies regarding the course.
8. There is a $15 administration charge if you require an invoice for your course fees.
9. If there is a medical emergency, you authorise YCC to seek appropriate care on your behalf and you accept full responsibility for expenses incurred.
Concession
If you have paid a concession fee, please include proof of your concession status with your enrolment form. If you enrol online, your teacher will need to sight this proof at your first class.
Cancellations
Refunds are only considered when a written request is received 10 days before your course begins. An administration fee of $20 applies. No refunds are given once a course has commenced.
