9.30am – 12.00pm: Design your own T-shirt with Anna
There are no limits to unleashing your child’s creativity in this session.
Anna will help the children create their own individual t-shirt using airbrushing, hand painting and lots of bedazzling options.
It will ignite imagination, creativity, exploration and most importantly create will have fun in a nurturing environment.
All materials and t-shirts provided. Please email [email protected] to confirm the size of the t-shirt required.
Bring an apron, it will get messy!
About the Tutor
Anna Kolusniewski is a practising artist, teacher, jewellery and costume designer. Anna teaches a variety of art and craft classes across Melbourne, suitable for all age groups and always lots of hands-on creative fun. Anna believes everyone has the ability to be creative and with positive encouragement can produce beautiful artwork. She also believes creativity has a calming effect on children and builds confidence through a sense of achievement, she loves inspiring children to push the boundaries of what they think they are capable of to send them to next level.
12.00pm – 3.30pm: Cooking with Susan: Gozleme and pancakes
Gather in the kitchen with Susan to make and bake your own delicious lunch and dessert.
Learn how to make a savoury gozleme from scratch. Knead the dough, hand roll it and fill it with cheese or feta and spinach. Then seal and brush with butter and cook it in a fry pan or griddle. Each child will make two pieces of gozleme for lunch and complete the cooking session with yummy pancakes (recipes can be adjusted to suite dietary requirements).
About the tutor
Susan Stojanova has been cooking since she was 12 years old. She continues to create and experiment with old time European recipes and loves sharing her recipes, tips and variations. All of Susan’s classes use her own recipes and she gets great pleasure from seeing the enjoyment on her students faces when they taste their creations. Family, friends and students say that her baklava is the best!
IMPORTANT:
- Please ensure children are dropped off at YCC, 59 Francis Street, Yarraville at 9.00am.
- Children will need to be picked up by 3.30pm sharp.
- Please let reception staff know if your child has any allergies.
- All materials and lunch provided.
- BYO apron, snacks, drink, and apron.
- Casual clothes the kids can get messy in.
