Explore Yayoi Kusama’s work over one 3 hour session, well known for her use of dense patterns of polka dots and nets as well as her intense large scale environments. Suitable for complete beginners to those with some experience. The cost covers all materials provided.
What you will learn
- How to design and draw a vase of flowers, then transfer onto coloured paper and cut and paste onto a patterned background and foreground created using instruction sheets paper and paint pens. Once all elements are glued down the flowers and vase will be embellished using markers and paint pens.
- OR unleash your creativity creating a colourful abstract piece of art using the same mixed media paint pen paper collage techniques used in the first session.

- A mixture of coloured paper – 8 colours
- Thick paper for background – 2 pieces
- Lead pencil and rubber
- White, silver or gold and one coloured paint pen

About the tutor
Anna Kolusniewski is a practising artist, teacher, jewellery and costume designer. Anna teaches a variety of art and craft classes across Melbourne, suitable for all age groups and always lots of hands-on creative fun.
