Explore Yayoi Kusama’s work over 2 ONLINE 2.5 hour sessions and learn about her well known use of dense patterns of polka dots and nets as well as her intense large scale environments.
During the first session, students will learn how to design and draw a vase of flowers, then transfer onto coloured paper and cut and paste onto a patterned background and foreground created using instruction sheets paper and paint pens. Once all elements are glued down the flowers and vase will be embellished using markers and paint pens.
In the second session we will unleash our creativity creating a colourful abstract piece of art using the same mixed media paint pen paper collage techniques used in the first session.
