Course summary

Learn about traditional Indian ayurvedic principles including the healing properties of food. Commence the day with light yoga asana and Pranayama (breathing exercises). Learn how to craft your morning ritual with a glass of energized drink and light snack followed by cooking sprouts and traditional upma (semolina porridge mixed with vegetables and spices), followed by masala chai. Discover the rich history of Ayurveda and take home the nutritional and health benefits of spices and herbs.

A specialist in authentic North Indian cuisine, Seema Choubey teaches cooking classes across Melbourne. Her teaching style is informal, hands on, interactive and always lots of fun for participants. Seema joyfully shares her skills, traditional cuisine and culture with all.
