Sour dough crackers are quick and easy to make. All you need is active culture, plain flour and a few other common kitchen ingredients (fresh herbs, sesame seeds, salt & pepper). Even better is there is no proving time. Just mix, knead, roll, cut & bake. Then of course eat. It is really that easy.

About the tutor
Michael has run popular Sour Dough bread making classes at YCC for the last four years. A home bread maker for over 30 years, at home with yeasted breads as well as sour dough. Over a long teaching career Michael Slee has taught maths and science at secondary level before moving into primary teaching. Seeing the light he moved side-ways into the Food Technology department working as a kitchen assistant for 4 years before his retirement at the end of 2019. Michael has a passion for all things sourdough bread baking for 20 years.
