Course summary

Learn to cook healthy and easy North Indian vegetarian cuisine, including a dry vegetable dish (aloo gobi – potato and cauliflower tossed with Indian spices), cucumber raita (spiced non-dairy yoghurt with cucumber), bhajia (vegetables coated with chickpea flour and fried) and peas pulav ( rice cooked along with peas and spices) . Pick up cooking tips and tricks, and learn about the nutritional and health benefits of spices and herbs. This is a vegetarian class with vegan options included.

About the tutor

A specialist in authentic North Indian cuisine, Seema Choubey teaches cooking classes across Melbourne. Her teaching style is informal, hands on, interactive and always lots of fun for participants. Seema joyfully shares her skills, traditional cuisine and culture with all.
