Our community services include public access to computers, occasional childcare and service referrals. We develop curriculum, manage projects and hire out our facilities. Here we also share community and YCC news and events.
We offer a range of government funded accredited and pre-accredited training programs including, literacy, English, computers, youth, employment programs and more. Our vocational education and training programs are delivered with the support of State and Federal Governments, and are Centrelink-approved.
We offer high quality, affordable childcare in a happy, safe and healthy environment for children aged 6 months to 5 years. Our stimulating and inclusive programs allow children to enjoy a range of age-appropriate activities.
For your meetings, conferences, training sessions, private parties and art exhibitions – our unique heritage venue at Francis Street and old quarryman’s residence at Blackwood Street have rooms available for hire at very reasonable rates. Our premises in Victoria Street, Footscray has 6 brand new classrooms which are also ideal for meetings, conferences or courses.
Yarraville Community Centre's Skills First Reconnect program supports people between the ages of 20-30 who have been unemployed long-term and have not completed high school and young people aged 17-19 who are early school leavers. Participants are allocated a Skills First Reconnect coach who will assist them to find educational pathways to employment.
