Shortbread is a delightful treat any time of year – especially cherished during Christmas!
Join us for an exciting and interactive baking class where our experienced tutor and baking connoisseur, Therese will start by demonstrating an easy 10-minute shortbread recipe that is both quick and delicious. While those are baking to golden perfection, you’ll also learn the process of creating a traditional shortbread, learning the secrets to achieving that perfect crumbly texture and rich buttery flavour.
By the end of the session, you’ll not only have a batch of scrumptious shortbread to taste and take home but also the knowledge to recreate these treats anytime you wish.

About the tutor
Therese Slee is a home baker who loves to bake biscuits, cakes and scones.
Therese enjoys sharing her recipes and shortcuts with others.
Therese’s passion for baking was put into action when she and husband Michael ran a B&B in Newport, where guests were always provided with home-baked goodies to enjoy with a cuppa. Recently, Therese has become a devotee of all things Devonshire Tea – a lovely way to spend an afternoon.
