Kindly delivered by GenWest, this informative session will explore local climate challenges such as heatwaves and flooding, while providing practical strategies for household preparedness, financial readiness, emergency planning, and emotional wellbeing.
The program covers:
- Understanding Climate Change and Local Climate Risks – Gain a deeper understanding of climate change, the risks facing your local area, and the potential effects on individual and community health and wellbeing.
- Practical Readiness and Wellbeing – Build household and financial resilience, learn how to access emergency services and support networks, and develop strategies to maintain emotional wellbeing before, during, and after emergencies.
