Discover the magic of botanical dyeing as you transform freely available plants into beautiful, lasting colours.
Guided step by step, you’ll explore the basics of natural dyeing on silk, gain an understanding of how different plant materials produce colour, and learn practical techniques that you can continue experimenting with at home.
By the end of the session, you will have created your own set of three hand-dyed silk ribbons to take home, each featuring its own distinctive colours and botanical impressions. No prior experience is required, making this workshop perfect for beginners, craft enthusiasts, and anyone interested in sustainable, nature-inspired creativity.
