Dive into the vibrant world of Mexican folk art with our new Pressed Tin Mirror workshop!
Unleash your creativity in this 3.5-hour workshop and create a stunning pressed tin mirror frame.
You will master the techniques of designing, drawing, and cutting out intricate patterns on tin.
With expert guidance from Anna, you’ll emboss your creations to perfection using specialized tools, adding depth and texture to your masterpiece.
Then add a burst of colour to your creation using vibrant inks, personalising your frame with your favourite colours. Once framed, the mirror is around 45 by 25 cm.
Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or a complete beginner, fear not! This workshop is designed for all skill levels, with all materials provided.
So, bring your imagination and let your creativity run wild as you craft your very own Mexican folk art-inspired treasure.

About the tutor
Anna Kolusniewski is recognised as one of Australia’s leading costume jewellery designers. Her design interests include lead lighting, mosaic, sculpture, painting and fine art techniques, millinery, and metal and theatrical costumes.
Anna is passionate about teaching and sharing her extensive knowledge in jewellery making and art and craft techniques. She believes everyone has the ability to be creative and with positive encouragement can produce beautiful artwork.
