This 4-week course is perfect for anyone who would like to get reacquainted with their sewing machine and learn basic sewing skills.
Each week, we’ll work on fun, beginner-friendly projects designed to grow your confidence, get you comfortable with different fabrics, and leave you with practical, handmade pieces to be proud of.

About the tutor
Amanda Lobo is a passionate fashion design educator and sewing mentor based in Melbourne’s west. Known for her hands-on, inclusive teaching style, she empowers students of all ages to explore creativity through fabric and design.
Outside the classroom, Amanda runs The Sorting Company, a home organising business, and creates handmade textile goods under her label NudiBags.
