About the tutor
Amanda Lobo is a passionate fashion design educator and sewing mentor based in Melbourne’s west, with over 15 years of experience in fashion design, product development, and garment construction. Alongside her industry experience, she has spent many years teaching people of all ages how to sew and develop their creative skills. Known for her hands-on and inclusive teaching style, she empowers students to explore creativity through fabric, design, and sustainable making practices.
Outside the classroom, Amanda runs The Sorting Company, a home organising business, and creates handmade textile goods under her label NudiBags.
