Course summary
If you bake bread at home, then this fabulous “all-new” workshop is for you.
Our local sourdough enthusiasts, Michael & Therese who have taught the popular Basic Sourdough bread-making class at YCC for many years will show you that there is so much more you can do with a sourdough culture than just use it to make a loaf of bread. As usual, the workshop is hands-on right from the start.
In this workshop, you will learn how to make Grissini, English Muffins & Pita bread (pocket bread) from a single prepared dough that is ready to shape and bake. From the same dough, you will also make a pizza for your lunch.
In the session, after lunch you will make sourdough crackers – a treat so good you will never buy dry biscuits/crackers again!
Having tasted the teacher’s demonstration bakes, you take home samples of freshly baked goodies that you have made and baked yourself.
Let’s build on your basic sourdough-making skills and learn how versatile sourdough can be.
All ingredients and recipes will be provided(you won’t receive an SD culture).
Suitable for anybody who wants to build on their basic sourdough-making skills.
