1.00pm – 2.00pm: Pastels with Sue Taylor Pearce

Try your hand at Pastels with Sue and take your own creation home.

Originating in Italy in the 1500’s chalk pastels were used by Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo, to create iconic art pieces.  Pastels are halfway between paints and pencils; essentially a very thick stick made mostly out of pigment and some binder that will allow the pigment to keep its shape and make it possible to handle it like a pencil and draw with it.

Sue Taylor Pearce has forged a successful career as an educator, creative small business owner and recently discovered a passion for adult learning. Sue has extensive knowledge and experience with program design, delivery and evaluation.  Her creativity, ability to build rapport and student engagement helps instill a sense confidence and self belief in her students.  Book here for Pastels
