The course would start with an assessment of each student to identify the areas they need to focus on. This would include taking into account any injuries, illness or chronic conditions.
Once this information is gathered a targeted program would be created for each person. The equipment will be supplied and I will instruct each student on the exercises as well as provide feedback so they know they are doing the exercise correctly.
The goal of the class is to provide more detailed instruction that is specific to the individuals needs which will help them progress more quickly and focus on exercise variations that suit their bodies (something that is only partially possible in group mat classes)
This type of pilates is ideal for those with spinal conditions such as scoliosis, kyphosis, bulging discs, osteoporosis as well as those with injuries that limit their movement or those who want more detailed instruction that a large mat class can offer.
The use of small equipment assists with the pilates movements and provides support as well as resistance so that the students improve faster.
A concession rate is available for this class.
Please note that you may be required to show your concession card.
