It’s a welcoming day of delicious food, hands‑on making and imaginative play, perfect for curious minds and busy hands.
What parents love most about YCC’s school holiday programs is that they’re always unique and a little bit different. And not to mention, so much FUN!
Suitable for children aged between 7 and 12 years old.
9.30am – 12.30pm: Making Tacos and Enchiladas for lunch
In this hands‑on cooking session, children will explore the vibrant world of Mexican cuisine as they learn to prepare their own tacos and enchiladas. They’ll discover how to choose fresh ingredients, build delicious fillings, roll and assemble enchiladas, and customise their tacos with colourful toppings. Along the way, they’ll pick up practical kitchen skills, boost their confidence, and enjoy the fun of creating a meal they can be proud of. It’s a relaxed, social workshop designed to spark creativity, encourage teamwork, and end with a tasty feast everyone can enjoy.
And the best part? After all their hard work, the children will sit down together to enjoy a tasty taco lunch they made on their own!
12.30pm – 3.30pm: Making little forest friends with Clay & Nature
In this playful clay workshop, children create their own forest creatures, animals or magical creatures using clay and natural materials like leaves, bark, twigs and seeds. After a quick, fun intro to clay, they’ll roll, shape and build their own little sculpture, exploring textures and natural details along the way. Every creature is unique, with the focus on imagination, curiosity and enjoying the creative process. By the end, each child will have special clay‑and‑nature creations to take home.
