Healthy smiles start early!

Join us for a practical and informative session on supporting your child’s oral health from the very beginning, presented by Dr. Bill Madytianos, author of the recently published title, Tools for Teeth.
This workshop provides parents and carers with expert advice on caring for little teeth, from the arrival of the first tooth through to toddlerhood.
Learn how to build positive brushing routines, prevent tooth decay, manage teething discomfort, know when to visit the dentist, and respond confidently to common dental emergencies.

Suitable for families with children aged 0-2 years, this session is also ideal for expecting parents who would like to get a head start on their child’s oral health journey.

About the tutor

Dr. Bill Madytianos is a dentist, dental educator and researcher with a passion for preventive dentistry and children’s oral health. Alongside his clinical work, Bill has spent much of his career researching and publishing in dental journals and furthering his studies in dental public health, with a focus on understanding and improving the oral health needs of the community. Dr. Bill is a Clinical Lecturer and Research Academic at the Melbourne Dental School at Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne, while also working as a general dentist in metropolitan Melbourne. His work brings together clinical experience, academic research and public health — all with one simple goal: To help parents feel confident about their kids’ teeth.
